Athletes

Athletes of all sports, levels and ages are treated at Hands On Therapy.

Myofascial release is used to treat any sports injury, such as pulled muscles, sprained ligaments, loss of movement in joints as well as concussions.  We address the cause of the injury as well as the symptoms.  Additionally, at Hands On Therapy, we do pre and post-operative rehabilitation following surgery for athletic injuries.

Myofascial release can also be used to keep the body in optimum alignment to enhance performance and prevent injury. Many of our athletes improve their times and form by receiving regular treatments. Exercise programs are individualized to the patient and sport.
