Patient Decision Guide
Which programme is right for you?
Our women’s health programmes are designed to support you through different life stages with the right balance of education, movement, and personalised care. This guide will help you decide where to start.
Step 1: Identify Your Current Life Stage
🤰 I am pregnant
You may be suitable for:
Pregnancy Support Programme
✔ You want safe, expert-led exercise during pregnancy
✔ You want to understand how your body is changing
✔ You would like guidance tailored to your trimester
You can also choose:
- Stand-alone Pre-natal Pilates classes (if you are already exercising confidently)
- Understanding Your Body in Pregnancy education course (education only)
You may be advised to book a 1:1 assessment first if:
- You have pregnancy complications
- You experience pelvic pain, pubic symphysis pain, incontinence, or significant discomfort
- This is your first time exercising during pregnancy
👶 I am recently postpartum (from 6 weeks onward)
You may be suitable for:
Postnatal Recovery Programme (recommended starting point)
✔ You want to rebuild strength safely after birth
✔ You are unsure how or when to return to exercise
✔ You want guidance for your pelvic floor and core
✔ You want to reduce the risk of long-term issues
✔ You want guidance on appropriate tampon use
✔ You are experiencing excessive fatigue
You can also choose:
- Stand-alone Postnatal Pilates classes (after clearance)
- Postpartum Recovery & Your Body education course (education only)
A 1:1 assessment is required before joining group postnatal classes to ensure safe progression.
🌿 I am peri-menopausal, menopausal, or post-menopausal
You may be suitable for:
Menopause Strength & Movement Programme
✔ You want to improve strength, bone health, and confidence
✔ You are managing symptoms such as joint pain, stiffness, or pelvic floor changes
✔ You want evidence-based guidance specific to menopause
You can also choose:
- Stand-alone Menopause Pilates classes
- Movement, Strength & Menopause education course (education only)
A 1:1 assessment may be recommended if you have osteoporosis, significant pain, or previous injuries.

Step 2: Decide How Much Support You Want
I want the most guidance and structure
Choose a Signature Programme:
- Education + movement
- Clear progression
- Best value
I want flexibility
Choose:
- Class packs
- Stand-alone workshops
I want education first
Choose:
- Education courses (online or in-person)
- Upgrade to classes later if desired
Step 3: In-Person or Online?
In-Person is best if:
- You want hands-on guidance
- You are returning to exercise after pregnancy or injury
- You value small group support
Online is best if:
- You prefer to learn at your own pace
- You are early postpartum or short on time
- You travel frequently
Step 4: Safety First
All clients complete an intake form before starting.
You may be referred for a 1:1 physiotherapy assessment before joining group classes if:
- You have pelvic floor symptoms
- You have pubic symphysis pain
- You have pain or medical considerations (such as carpal tunnel)
- You are early postpartum
This ensures your programme is safe, appropriate, and tailored to you.
